The Dr. Alain Faure Collection We are delighted to offer in this sale a private collection of just over two hundred items belonging to Dr. Alain Faure. An art historian and European language teacher, the collection represents over thirty years of active buying, upgrading, learning and enjoyment. He was greatly inspired by the world renowned collections of Sir Percival David and Joseph Hutong Gallery (both on display in the British Museum).
