Spinach green jade with calcifiations, each in a half circle form with a minor central indentation and two double sided drill holes, Liangzhu 3400-2250 bc. L of larger 8.8 cm. (3 1/2 in.)

From the Irving Langleb collection, a prominent Jewish gentleman who resided in Japan post-WWII and was a close friend to Prince Mikasa. Pieces offered in this sale were collected in Japan in the 1950's and bear a consistent collection label.
