Late 19th century, the shallow circular dish flanked by oval medallion pendants, centering a relief-cast portrait of a classical Roman lady in profile, flanked by scrolling bifurcated handles with espagnolette shoulders connecting at the gadrooned stem, over a molded, spreading circular foot, mounted on a black slate circular stepped base, 12'' H x 18'' W, est: $500/800

Condition

Overall good condition. General marks, scratches, and rubbing commensurate with age. Scattered areas of more extensive rubbing and minor oxidation to polished bronze. Numerous small chips and fleabites to bottom edge of black slate base, the largest: .125'' H x .25'' W. .
