Primitive country store merchants counter-top desk in original old blue/green paint with a lockable slant front lid that tilts open to three interior drawers and a large storage area. In closed position top shelf measures 6\" D X 30.75\" W with a tapered 3\" gallery. Dovetailed frame. Interior of lid signed in pencil \"Stephen Clement / Amesbury Mass. / 1874 (or 1824). Overall measurements are 31.75\" W X 20\" D X 16.5\" to 9\" H. Overall condition: fair-good.
