painted tin figures on weighted support that balances on a shelf centered between the embossed tin wheels which rest on heavy rods affixed to a painted tin flanged base; This piece is offered as found having resided with the same family for well over 100 years. The base has some seam separation and some reslodering on underside which appears to have been done quite some time ago. Features of the piece suggest the maker as possibly Fallows or Hull & Stafford and dating to the 1880's.
