[FRANCE] Lizinska de Mirbel (1796-1849) French artist of miniatures. Having studied with the painter Augustin , Lizinska specialized in the genre of miniature where she became famous. She was the painter of Louis XVIII and Charles X . She painted several sovereigns, many distinguished personages of her time. The following were the most exposed to various shows: Charles X, the Duke of Fitz-James (1827), the Duke Decazes, Princess of Chalais, Count Demidoff (1834) Louis-Philippe, Queen of the Belgians (1835 ), the Duke of Orleans, Count of Paris, Fanny Essler (1839), General Gourgaud (1841), ladies and Guizot Martin North (1844), the Duchess of Treviso (1845), the Marshal de Reggio ( 1847), M. Emile de Girardin (1848), etc.. Ms. Mirbel also made ​​portraits in watercolor. She received three medals, including a first class.
