The Corvette C2 on offer is one from the firs production year of the second generation. It is powered by a 5.4 litre V8 engine with 300 BHP. The Stingray was meticulously restored over the past years by the current owner. The condition now can be described as better than new. Even the underside shines as new. This C2 is the rare opportunity to own a basically new Corvette Stingray Convertible from the first production year.

The Chevrolet Corvette C2 was introduced in the summer of 1962 as the second generation of Corvettes in the Sting Ray range. For the first time there was a convertible Corvette as well as a coupe and the C2 was the first Corvette without a rigid rear axle and it used independent suspension. The "Sting Ray" was not as curvy and rounded as its predecessor. The prominent wedge shape of the front and rear is characteristic of these so-called ‘Sting-Ray’ models. Pop-up headlights and the distinctive lateral bending vehicle body at the height of the wheel arches emphasize its flat contour.
