A good beaded evening coat, possibly Margaine Lacroix, late 1920s, the cloth of gold ground embossed with floral repeats and elaborately beaded to the front and back panels with flowers in shades of pink, blue and green, chest approx 92cm, 36in

Good condition. Embossed gold lame generally good. Beading generally good, no obvious losses. Pale green crepe lining is generally good. Neck area and sleeves are lined in green rayon which is probably later added but extremely well done. Hook and eye fastenings on collar are missing.
