Description

An unusual feather capelet, late 1940s or early 1950s, the goose down panels forming a sculpted shape, with simple arm slits, lined in grey rayon

Condition

Plumage is good condition, wonderfully soft. The lining shows signs of a narrow label having been removed. The lining around the centre back neck area has discoloured, otherwise it’s good. From rear neck to hem is 60cm/24in. Top of shoulder to top of shoulder is 50cm/20in
