An inlaid mahogany eight-day longcase clock, c.1900, the hood with swan-neck pediment centred by a sphere, over an arched door flanked by fluted Corinthian columns, the case with moulded broken-arch trunk door, inlaid with a vase, bellflowers and drapery, the base similarly inlaid and raised on ogee bracket feet, the 11½'' brass break-arch dial with strike/silent and steel chapter, signed S.W. SKIPPER/ DARLINGTON, with weights, pendulum and case key. 236cm
