Greece, probably Ionia, Ca 300 to 50 BCE. Rare pottery skyphos with handles in a vertical orientation. Wheel thrown body with small shelf on exterior and small foot. 2.75"W x 5.00"H (6.99 W x 12.70 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
