Two Aesthetic Movement vases with raised enamel birds, grasses, and flowers on textured buff ground. One scene depicts two white flowers in between standing bird and bird in flight, other scene depicts two birds in flight and three white flowers. Each with slightly different glaze coloration to interior of flared lip and molded base - one vase with three thin firing defects in flared lip. Both impressed on base with "Doulton Lambeth" mark with four interlocking D's (c. 1880-1902), and the date "1887." Incised with the mark of Florence Barlow as well as the initials "MD" and the number "272." 7 1/2" H.
