A fragment of a Star Ushak woven in light colours. The surviving section constitutes the upper left-hand corner of the field and most of the three-panel border in that area. The design of the main border - star-shaped blossoms in light red, rose, brown and yellow - and the style of the vines in the two yellow secondary borders indicate an early date. - Mounted. Obvious signs of age and wear, holes, extremely low pile.
