Description
Bexley 1996 "Equipoise - Prototype" Fountain Pens
This series of pens was the first of Bexley's "open editions." A few of their first Prototype pens were offered to their dealers, which were quickly absorbed into collections and today are rarely seen. We are offering 6 of these early Prototype pens in separate auctions.
Pen #1 ( Blue Pearlescent) is a button fill pen with silver clip and accents. It is fitted with what appears to be a two-tone Bexely 14K Medium nib.
Pen #2 (White) is a cartridge converter pen with gold clip and accents. It is fitted with what appears to be a two-tone Bexley 14K Medium nib.
Pen #3 (Cream) is a button fill pen with gold clip and accents. It is fitted with what appears to be two-tone Bexley 14K Medium nib.
Pen #4 (Burgundy Pearlescent) is a cartridge converter pen with gold clip and accents. It is fitted with what appears to be a two-tone Bexley 14K Medium nib.
All pens in the set of 4 are mint, boxed in a wooden box with papers and large certificates of authenticity.
