Pelikan 1997 Originals of Their Time Limited Edition Fountain Pen 

This Pelikan 1997 Originals of Their Time limited edition fountain pen was created using the revered M100 as its basic style, and this is the first of a 3-pen series recreation of the 1931 vintage Pelikan. These limited edition pens were created to pay homage to the city of Toledo, Spain and are often referred to as the 'Toledo' series, with this pen being #1714 of 5000. It is a piston-fill pen with the base twist knob of black hard rubber, and the upper barrel section containing a transparent viewing ink reservoir. The clip and accents are a heavy gold plate, while the barrel and cap are of polished celluloid except for the center section of the barrel which has an 18 karat gold overlay with a horizontal guilloche design. It is fitted with a solid 18 karat Pelikan 'B' nib. Pen is mint in plush lined box, in outer box with all papers.
