Pelikan 2005 Original "Kyokko" Limited Edition Fountain Pen 

Pelikan 2005 Original "Kyokko" Limited Edition fountain pen, serial #143/200. In 2005 the noted Japanese pen maker Norio Matsuda to create, on the basis of their classic "Souveran" M800 piston-fill pen, a pair of abalone-adorned pens in the aged Japanese raden shell and lacquer techniques. The "Kyokko" (sunlight) pen, in gold-plated clip and trim, is embedded with Japanese abalone shell slivers, exhibiting a more purplish hue. Fitted with an 18k gold and rhodium Pelikan medium nib and housed in a plain Oriental Paulownia wood box labeled in descriptive kanji. This pen is offered mint in boxes with all papers.
