This representative dumbling spoon made of 830 silver comes from the silver workshop of T.F. Blinkenberg in Hjörring, Denmark. The spoon was designed 1918 and has a huge, acuminatedly depressant spoon bowl and shows at the end of the handle a shell décor in relief. This high Scandinavian quality is suitable for big family celebrations.
The spoon is stamped verso on the handle with the purity mark, the country mark and date, the assayer’s mark Christian F. Hiese (1904-1948) and the master’s mark ‘BLINKENBERG’. It is in very good condition with very little age related signs of wear. The length is c. 37 cm and the weight measures c. 164 grams.
