Rare mirror in the typical shades for Rococo
This rare, presumably in Bayreuth made Salon mirror, dates back time around 1760. The rectangular frame shows a high curved rocaille crown. In the Middle a flower basket with fruits is framed by plastic flowers and roses. They are also shown on the slotted carved base. The frame has sculptural and painted roses and flower decor in a corresponding arrangement.
The mirror is in good condition but has, due to his age, small losses in the wood, as well as some color blemishes. The mirror measures 68 x 32 x 4 cm.
