A Near Eastern bronze dagger or short sword, c. 1200 - 1000 BC, the blade and hilt cast as one piece. The blade is long and very slender with wide midrib also tapering with blade. The flanged hilt which would have held inlays in another material with two rivet holes, one rivet still in place, losses to the lappets which originally secured the inlay in place. L: 14 ½ in (37cm).
