The Judy Garland Show TV Series White Sailor Top, CBS, 1963 Heavy cream silk satin accented with burgundy silk piping. Shirt is weighted at the bottom and has a side zipper. The neck snaps at the front and the sailor collar snaps into the neck line. There are no labels present. The detachable tie is not present. One of the most prestigious variety shows of the 60's was Judy Garland's weekly musical show. Judy attended Barbra's Cocoanut Grove concert and was so impressed by her talent that she invited her to appear on the show. The teaming of Garland and Streisand is now historic and a classic moment in Television and entertainment history. For her solo numbers Barbra wore the same white sailor shirt she had worn at the Cocoanut Grove. There were several shirts similar to this, with variations in the tie, and in different colors. Original bow not present, otherwise excellent condition.
