White and Black Sailor Top Heavy cream silk satin accented with black silk piping. Shirt is weighted at the bottom and has a side zipper. The neck snaps at the front and the sailor collar snaps into the neck line. There are no labels present. This vintage sailor top varied from the one Streisand wore for her duet with Judy Garland on Garland' show. This shirt does not have the same detachable snap in collar. Barbra designed this piece for her first appearance at the Ambassador hotel's popular Cocoanut Grove nightclub. Barbra is also photographed above wearing this piece performing at a 1963 concert appearance. Excellent condition.
