Wiener Werkstätte
In intense contact with English and Scottish Art Nouveau artists and representatives of the Arts and Crafts movement the Wiener Werkstätte developed its own elegant style under Josef Hoffmann, who was one of the founding members. Already in the first couple of years, artists created preferably jewelry. Especially silver was beaten, chased, patinated to collars, necklaces, rings and brooches.
