Description
[Revolutionary War Era]. Boston Merchant's Journal, c. early 1760s, from the Joshua Henshaw Sr., and Joshua Henshaw Jr. family; distillers in Boston, who moved to Dedham MA at the start of Siege of Boston (April 19, 1775 – March 17, 1776). Joseph Jackson, (another Boston distiller), Charles Apthorp, William Mollineux, Samuel Huntington and Jane Eustis. Size approx. 16" x 11", contemp flexible covers, with spine cracked from pages & some sections loose, few leaves separated; some yellowing and edgewear. Signed by Elis. Henshaw Dodge in several places incl. front & rear covers and interior pages.
