A RARE ART DECO RUBY AND DIAMOND SUITE
Comprising a necklace, designed as a series of eight oval and round cabochoncut rubies, each within circular-cut diamond surround, spaced by an openwork band set with round and baguette diamonds, and a pair of ear pendants en suite, mounted in 18K white gold and platinum. Circa 1930.
Ten important semi-transparent rubies probably coming from the same Burmese origin enhance this exceptional suite and reveal its rarity. Necklace length: 14.75 in. - 37,5 cm Ear pendant length: 1.27 in. - 3,5 cm

The front central ruby is accompanied by report # 67601 dated 15 April 2013 from the SSEF Swiss Gemological Institute stating that the ruby is natural, weighing 8,779 carats, its origin would be classified as Burma (Myanmar), no indication of thermal treatment.
