Group portrait of the attendees of this South Dakota Firemen 's Convention, including firemen from Sisseton, Huron, Canton, Hudson, Brookings, Burke, Pierre, and Rapid City. Taken by a cirkut camera, a rotating panoramic camera, patented in 1904. The camera was produced up until 1949, and was used in this instance to capture a very large group of firemen dressed very well, some in uniform.

Condition

Only a slight ripple to photograph, and what appears to be a bit of dirt on the surface of the glass; not examined outside of frame; near fine.
