Very good condition
This quintessential Edwardian ring has a low domed rectangular top plate which gently arches downward on each side with rounded ends above and below while being flanked by tapered elements that integrate into the ring shank, all of which is highlighted by pierced openwork and millegraining. The ring is centered by a bead set round old European cut diamond, weighing approximately 1.35 carats, which is bordered by rectangular French cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.25 carat each. The two diamonds, above and below, are framed by two French cut sapphires weighing approximately 0.12 carat each, and the round ends are finished with two trios of bead set round old European cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring are both set with a rectangular French cut diamond and a triangular sapphire that are flanked by round old European cut diamonds and pierced scrolls highlighted by round single and additional old European cut diamonds bead set into the millegrained mounting completed by the engraved ring shank. The condition of the ring is very good with only slight amount of wear to the engraving on the ring shank.
