George VI Cased Twelve-Piece Sterling Silver and Mother-of-Pearl Dessert Service, hallmarked Sheffield, 1938-1939, by James Dixon & Sons, including six dessert knives with pointed sterling blades, l. 6-1/2", and six dessert forks with three sterling tines, l. 5-1/2", each with a carved mother-of-pearl flat handle of rectangular section with shield-shaped finial, presented in the original beige satin- and velvet-lined oak case, 2-5/8" x 11-1/2" x 9-1/4".
