TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: Two identical printed 8vo Afternoon Tea menu cards issued by The Hotels Executive of British Transport, each signed in ink to the verso by thirteen members of the Tottenham Hotspur squad who won their first League Championship in 1950-51, comprising Alf Ramsey, Bill Nicholson, Les Medley, Ron Burgess, Les Bennett, Ted Ditchburn, Eddie Baily, Len Duquemin, Sonny Walters, Charlie Withers, Harry Clarke, Peter Murphy and Cecil Poynton (trainer). Together with two identical printed oblong 8vo cards issued by The Hotels Executive of British Transport providing information on seating arrangements for the Restaurant Car, each signed in ink to the verso by fourteen members of a Charlton Athletic FC squad including Sam Bartram, Frank Lock, Jack Shreeve, Harold Phipps, Billy Kiernan, Benny Fenton, Charlie Vaughan etc., also including a further selection of multiple signed 8vo sheets, cards, pieces etc., by various footballers and other sportsmen including Bill Gorman, Norman Corbett, Phil Rookes, Ralph Calland, Billy Wrigglesworth, Ted Ditchburn, Leslie Compton, Walley Barnes, Don Roper, Laurie Scott, Jimmy Logie, Lee Savold, Ernie Toshack, Alec Bedser, Jim Laker, E. Patsy Hendren, Wally Hammond etc., (most of the signatures in pencil) and further including two printed small 8vo editions of the Daily News Cricket Annual of 1926 (lacking covers) and 1928 (both only FR) and also including a few multiple signed pieces and cards etc., in pencil, by various famous pilots and aviators (some associated with the Battle of Britain) including Charles W.
