KIPLING RUDYARD: (1865-1936) English Author, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1907. T.L.S., Rudyard Kipling, one page, oblong 8vo, Bateman's, Burwash, Sussex, 19th April 1909, to the editor of The Englishwoman, ('Dear Madam'), marked Private. Kipling states that he has only just returned to England to find his correspondent's letter and copies of the magazine, remarking 'I am afraid I cannot give you the help you ask as I have no belief in the objects for which your magazine appears to be founded'.
