GERMAN AVIATION: A Royal Air Force First Day Cover commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the Central Flying School and featuring a colour image of a Gloster Gamecock aircraft, individually signed by six German pioneer aviators comprising Friedrich-Karl Koenig-Warthausen (made the first solo flight around the world 1928-29), Adolf Fischer (crew member of the Hindenburg, 1937), Oskar Fink, Eugen Schauble, Otto Lindpaintner and Bruno Poelke. Post marked 19th June 1972. Signed by each in blue and black inks to clear areas. VG
