Description
Republic period. With four characters in ink on the lid stating this teapot can calm down one's mood (Keyi Qingxin). On one side of the body is a scene in Hongloumeng depicting Baoyu and Daiyu reading. On the other side is Xixiangji under a peach tree. Six characters in iron red to the base state "Made by Chenshengfa from Jiangxi (Jiangxi Chenshengfa Zao.)" Approx. 6.5 by 4.5 in. diam., 16.8 by 11.5 cm. diam.
