Gorgeous Oak Curio Side Board attributed to Paine Furniture Co., Boston, MA. Original bevelled mirror back, golden oak finish, bevelled glass on top doors, 3 drawers, 2 doors at bottom. All beautiful carvings on top sides, bottom sides, and at top. Ornate brass drawer pulls and key holes. There is a little crease on door below right side which has been there a long time. This is a fabulous one of a kind piece. Owners paid over $800 when originally purchased. Very rare price to find, as they usually didn't make side boards with curio tops. Comes in 2 section for easy moving. Measures 48" wide x 23" deep by 77" tall. The Paine Furniture Co. was opened in 1835 on Boston's Blackstone Street and grew to 275,000 square foot building at 81 Arlington Street in Boston, Paine's was a furniture landmark for almost 200 years and a famouse New England tradition providing quality home furnishings.
