Description
E-025 Imperial German Prussian 9th Dragoon Regiment NCO Musician/Bugler parade helmet. Excellent solid black leather body with a brass trim squared-off visor. Gilt brass Dragoon eagle with additional legends "PENINSULA - WATERLOO - GOHRDE". Brass cross base with trichter holding a red horsehair bush. Convex brass chinscales with both the National and Prussian rosettes. Brown leather drawstring liner. Underside of back visor is stamped "D R. No 9 - 1908...". Also penned in "July 28.1919.Hamburg". Small "nip" in the edge of the leather rear visor, next to the bottom of the spine. II+
