Description
Thickly silver-plated Victorian Coffee or Chocolate pot. Hexagonal base. Ornamented rim. Well marked on the bottom with QUADRUPLE PLATE and the "W" in Web mark of E.G. WEBSTER & SON of New York and Brooklyn. Founded in 1860 by Elizur G. Webster. Formed E.G. Webster & Brother in 1865. Incorporated in 1867 as Webster Manufacturing Co. Sold to the International Silver Co. in 1928. Dates back to circa 1880's. Measurements: 8.75" x 7.75" handle to spout, 3.25" at widest
Condition
Good overall. Minor deformities. Nice display. No seen loss of silvering. The hinge may have been re-soldered a long time ago
