The following four lots 651-654 are by the American artist Henry Grub b.1884. The artist was born to a German father and English mother and was a painter, sculptor, and architect. Henry Grub studied in New York with George Bridgman and was a member of the League of American Artists, the Society of Independent Artists, and exhibited at a number of the Salons of America. He lived in Great Neck, New York and exhibited from the 1920s-40s. The artist died in Japan circa 1962/4.
