Illustrated Priced Catalogue, illustrations, a few annotations in red ink, Paris & London, 1882; Catalogue of the Hamilton Library, printed list of prices and buyers bound in at end, contemporary morocco-backed cloth, Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, 1884, sale catalogues, all rubbed ; and 6 others, sale catalogues of or including Beckford or Hamilton property, 4to & 8vo (9) The first sale in 1822 never took place as John Farquhar bought the estate together with its contents; he then put the contents up for sale at auction the following year. Beckford's main library and art collection had already been removed to his new residence in Lansdowne Terrace, Bath, and was inherited by his son-in-law the 10th Duke of Hamilton, and later sold as part of the Hamilton sales in 1882 and 1884.
