Unusual stabilized extreme rusted steel bezel with rivets. Deep black Romain Jerome dial with Arabic hour markers and skeleton hands. The dial is made from coal recovered from the Titanic. Swiss made, automatic self winding movement. Exhibition see through case back. Case back engraved "Made With Parts of the Titanic." Comes on a black Romain Jerome rubber strap with a titanium Romain Jerome deployant clasp. Approximate diameter is 50mm. Accompanied by fitted Romain Jerome box and papers. Overall condition is near mint. Running at the time of inspection, however not checked for accuracy. An overhaul is always recommended for used watches.

Romain Jerome incorporated parts of the Titanic ship metal, metal from the Irish ship yard that built the Titanic, and other steel into the bezel. The bezels were oxidized in a water solution for several days in order to achieve the extreme rusted effect. This gives the wearer a sense of the oxidation that occurred over the years on the Titanic as it laid on the ocean bottom.
