After Carlo Nolli, Italian, 1710-c.1785. Engraving with hand colored Gouache accents is after Nolli's work, which was done after the ancient fresco at Villa di Arianna at Stabiae, "The Cupid Seller". The image depicts a peddler pulling one of two Putti out of a cage, and as she offers it to two young women. Unsigned. Minor wear. Image is 8" x 6 1/2" high, in a gilt molded frame, 15 1/4" x 12 1/4" high overall. ESTIMATE $100-200
