VERY RARE Pair of Chinese Gilt bronze Dragon Head Shoulder pole sedan carriage front cover w/ Stands, 18th/19th C. in form of Mythical Beast, Elephant Trunk, Face of Lion, Deer Antler, fiercely facing upward, opening mouth showing the teeth. The entire bowl is covered with a ground of tea dust glaze, showing the speckled patina of a bronze object. Gilt was added to approach even more closely the dazzling splendor, coloring and expression of the original bronze. Both presented on a carved wood display stand.
