Spirit of Ecstasy - Charles Sykes. 66 inches tall. This Charles Robinson Sykes bronze sculpture, is created in the lost wax method.

Condition

This sculpture is one of the finest reproductions of Sykes original sculpture and is in mint condition. Spirit of Ecstasy, was originally designed by Sykes to be the mascot for the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost. Sykes modeled the piece after the woman he loved who was also engaged in a secret love affair with her boss, a pioneer of the auto industry. His love and her boss were aboard the S.S. Persia that was torpedoed off Crete. This is an antique Gold Patina sculpture and granite base. Comes with foundry assay. Some variations in marble might occur. Weight 88 lbs. This sculpture is one of the finest reproductions youll find of Sykes original sculpture.
