Description

A beauitful depiction of a woman with quiver of arrows, likely the Goddess Diana, resting on a rouge marble base, having bronzed band heavily embossed with cherubs playing various instruments, with pinecone finials and gilt decorated rosettes, interior works marked "Lemerle Charpentier, Fant de Bronzes, 301, Paris", measures 21.5"H, circa late 19th century. Condition: with light surface wear and minor losses at corners, could use a good cleaning, face lacking one hour marker.

From the collection of the late Leonard and Victoria Hall who operated Halls of Elegant Interiors Specializing in Period Decor in Detroit Michigan on 12th street from the 1940's-1960's.
