A tall, narrow neck with a pronounced rim is raised on a bulbous body. One of the handles is still attached. The body is tapering to a pronounced peg base. In places, especially on the neck, the amphora is covered with shell encrustations. It can be displayed in a tripod metal stand. Amphorae of this kind were usually used to store sauces.
The amphora is in fair condition with wear consistent with age. One handle is missing. The height measures approx. 80 cm. (tfa)
