Fine and detailed carving, crafted in a layered relief
This marble temple relief has a rectangular shape and is carved in low relief. Within an arch various figures are rendered. Shown is a four armed Bodhisattva, in dhyanasana meditation position with various attributes in the hands and flanked by an attendant to his left and a tiger on his right side. The relief is highlighted by its very detailed ornaments.
The marble temple relief is in good condition with signs of wear consistent with age. Loss of material at the corners and weathering are visible. The height measures 34 cm and width is 44 cm. The weight is about 20 kg.
