The three shabtis from the late period of the Ancient Egypt feature the typical mummy form and the characteristic greenish glaze. Shabtis were mostly used as burial objects or deposited in sacred places. As a result, the deceased or a person were symbolically present. From the New Kingdom (circa 1550-1070 BC), the shabtis in graves had a servant function. In this case, the deceased called the shabti from the netherworld, mostly to do some farm work for him.
The shabtis are in good condition with typical sinter marks and small nicks. The figures are between 11 and 12 cm in height. (cko)
