Description
Chinese, Late 19th/Early 20th century. Pair of shadowbox framed ivory figural carvings comprising of a fisherman with long beard standing on a rock form base barefoot holding three fish on a line and his fishing pole; and a young woman in long robe holding woven handled vessel and ornamented with flowers. Each figure standing on a carved ebonized wood base within frame. Verso of each with typed label that claims these were carved by Tack Cheung, Hong Kong, China. Each framed approximately 22.5" x 13" x 3.5".
