Description
Chinese, early 20th century. A group of blue and white motif porcelain cups comprising of a pair of rice grain cups with exterior decoration in cobalt blue under glaze of a diaper patterned band around rim, rice grain band around center, and band of leaf tips around base, with internal decoration of stylized bats around inner rim and a floral medallion in basin, Kangxi Period mark on bottom, 3" tall x 2.25" tall; and a single porcelain teacup with scalloped rim decorated in cobalt blue with double bordered rim and staggered floral bunches around a central medallion with a floral bunch, and exterior decoration of diamond patterning around rim and vertical cartouches containing long stemmed flowers, with incised decoration around base, indistinguishable mark on bottom, 3.25" diameter x 2" tall.
