Description

Jeffry Loy (American/ Atlanta, Georgia, 20th century). "Pedestal Creature", iron and patinated iron, signed on leaf form arm "Loy '09". Fairy tale like creature with arms and legs of long curved leaf form, body decorated with spiral bands of patinated iron, and head formed from a ball shape with decorations of leaves and spiral forms creating facial features, mounted on an overlapping leaf form base with applied scroll arm supports. Approximately 76" tall x 29" wide at base._x000D_
