English, late 19th century. A pair of etchings of mills_x000D_
comprising of "An Old English Mill" drawn and etched by Myles Birket Foster (English, 1825-1899), published in 1881 in The Art Journal, depicting a young woman fetching water into a bottle from a river flowing out of a mill; and "An Old German Mill" drawn and etched by Axel Haig (German, 1835-1921), published in 1881 in The Art Journal, depicting an urban mill beside an arched footbridge with figures in boats along the river and a cathedral spire rising in the background. Framed 16" x 12", unframed sight size 11" x 7.25"._x000D_
