The cabin is hollow with a small plastic wheel. A flat pin, which sticks out from under the front bumper, allows the front wheels to be moved. The underside of the car reads ‘Made in Germany’. On the left side of the Jaguar there is a small ‘stop and go’ wheel. The rear bumper has a small opening with which the car can be connected to the Distler gas station to charge the battery. The toy comes in its original packaging with different paintings of the Jaguar in different colors.
The car is in good played with condition with a couple of minor scratches. The packaging is damaged with Electromatic 7600 factory blacked-out. The car is 21 cm long and the box has a length of 22 cm. Functionality has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed.
Johann Distler
Johann Distler founded his tin toy factory in Nuremberg around 1900. At the beginning the production focused on so-called penny toys. In the 1920s and 30s over 800 different products, mainly cars, planes and mechanical figurines were marketed. The Porsche 7500 with an electric motor became a bestseller in the 1950s. In 1962 production ceased. (pbu)
