This lot comprises one original wooden case with twelve bottles of 1990 vintage Château Cantenac-Brown from the Margaux appellation in Bordeaux.
Margaux is located in MĂ©doc and is one the finest appellations in France. Ernest Hemingway was so fond of Margaux wine that he named his daughter after it. The most widely used grape variety is Cabernet Sauvignon, which is always blended with other varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The wines are long-lasting and should only be savored after several years of proper storage.
1990 was a great year for Bordeaux wine. The warm, sunny weather was hardly interrupted and produced fantastic wines.
The fill levels are excellent (into neck). The labels and capsules are in perfect condition.
